Our goal is to demonstrate that application programs with Agrology’s Functional Crop Nutrition® products are an obvious investment for producers, as the financial benefits exceed the cost of supplemental applications!
One such Success Story was carried out on Potato, var. Soprano (SS 2025_203_GR) in Euboea, in collaboration with the agricultural store “Gkikas Nikolaos”, in 2025. Throughout the process, the farmer benefited from the continuous guidance and support offered by Agrology’s Technical Department and the collaborating agricultural store.
The field was divided into two plots, one was used as the Control, while Agrology’s Program was applied to the other plot. In both plots, the farmer used the same plant protection and plant nutrition-fertilization program, apart from the additional applications with Agrology’s Functional Crop Nutrition® products.

Functional Crop Nutrition® Products
Formulation of high biostimulating potential of 12% algae extracts of Laminaria digitata and Ascophyllum nodosum. Enriched with a 10% mixture of 20 biologically active L-amino acids of enzymatic hydrolysis and 21% mixture of Organic Prebiotics of short chain carbohydrates and Carboxylic Acids. Enhanced with 57% refined Leonardite extract, natural Fulvic: Humic acid ratio 30:70 and Iron (Fe, EDDHA), Molybdenum (Mo) and Cobalt (Co).
- Enhancement of plant resistance to abiotic stress
- Improvement of soil structure, aeration, and water-holding capacity

Measurements on both plots revealed impressive results in the Agrology treatment. Specifically, the results were as follows:

Tuber Weight Increase: +21.3 g/tuber or 9%

- Control: 237.2 g
3. Tuber Size Increase
A) Increase in Vertical Tuber Diameter (cm): +6.4% (+0.7 cm)
- Agrology: 11.6 cm
- Control: 10.9 cm
B) Increase in Horizontal Tuber Diameter (cm): +12.1% (+0.7 cm)
- Agrology: 6.5 cm
- Control: 5.8 cm
4. Total Yield Increase
Total Yield Increase: +5.5 t/ha or 11.6%
- Agrology: 53 t/ha
- Control: 47.5 t/ha
Notes
*The harvest of the Control treatment was carried out approximately 20 days after the harvest of the Agrology treatment, for commercial distribution reasons.
**During this 20-day period, the tubers increased in weight (additional accumulation of water and dry matter); therefore, if the harvests had taken place on the same day, the difference in total yield would have been even greater.
