The Company takes all necessary organizational and technical measures designed to protect data from loss, misuse, unauthorized access, disclosure, distortion or destruction and ensures the fair and lawful collection and processing of your personal data as well as their safe storage.
In this endeavor, the Company makes all the appropriate efforts, in order to fully comply with the applicable national, European and international legal framework, and in particular with the European Union’s General Data Protection Regulation 679/2016.

The Scope of the Policy

We would like to inform you of the way in which your personal data are collected, stored, used and transmitted, the security measures we take to protect your personal data, the reasons and the maintenance time, as well as the type of the personal data which are collected. What is personal data?

Different pieces of information, which collected together can lead to the identification of a particular person, also constitute personal data (eg. name, surname, ID number, email address, etc.). Health data (physical or mental, medical services, etc.) are included in the general term of personal data however are a specific data category. The Company will not process your personal data without your consent. However, the Company reserves the right, in exceptional cases, to process your personal data information to the extent permitted or required by law, and/or by court orders or prosecution orders.

How is your personal data information collected?

Your personal data information is collected in the following ways:

(a) You provide your personal data to us when you apply for a job. Disposing of your personal data in the context of submitting a CV to the Company takes place on a voluntary base otherwise your evaluation would not be feasible. (b) You provide your personal data when you complete the “Confirmation & Consent Form of Personal Data” and the “Consent Form of Taking Photo and Audiovisual Material”. Submission of your personal data information is processed with your consent for the sole purpose of informing you about our Company’s services and products offers and any other promotional activities, in accordance with Article 6a of the Regulation 679/2016.

(c) You provide your personal data when you participate in our Company’s events. The data are processed in accordance with Article 6b of the Regulation 679/2016.

(d) Automatically via the browser or mobile device you use to access our website www.agrology.eu

(e) You provide your personal data when you fill out forms regarding the Management Systems (ISO) applied within the Company. The data are processed in accordance with Article 6f of the Regulation 679/2016.

(f) You provide your personal data to us when you complete electronic forms or when you send an e-mail in order to be informed about our Company’s products or services which are available in our website www.agrology.eu. Submission of your personal data information is processed with your consent for the sole purpose of informing you about our Company’s services and products, in accordance with Article 6b of the Regulation 679/2016.

What kind of personal data is collected?

– We collect certain personally identifiable information about you (such as your name and surname, address, telephone number, email address and contact information at general). The purpose of the collection is in accordance with Article 6b of the Regulation 679/2016.

-We collect certain personally identifiable data such as your resume, knowledge, training, professional experience, etc.). The above data is obtained, processed and maintained for the purpose of satisfying the selection and evaluation of potential employees from the Company for the purpose of filling a position in accordance with Article 6b of the Regulation 679/2016. Your data is kept only for this purpose and is processed by the relevant Departments of the Company and its authorized personnel, Accounting Department, Management, CV Manager etc.

-We collect certain identification, financial, tax and contact data, such as VAT, ID, contact details, address, etc. Obtaining, processing and retaining of your data belonging to the above categories, in accordance with the Article 6c of the Regulation 679/2016, is necessary for the Company to comply with its legal obligations.

-We collect certain identification data such as location, surname, social media account, address etc. The downloading and processing of your data belonging to the above categories is carried out in accordance with the Article 6c of the Regulation 679/2016 of the Company’s promotional activities.

When you connect to our website, there is certain technical information that may be collected through the use of “cookies” and other tracking tools. This information may include, but is not limited to, your IP host address, internet browser type, personal computer settings, and the number, duration, and character of page visits. We collect information about users over time when you use our website. We may also have third parties collect personal information this way. This information assists us to update our website so that it remains interesting to our visitors and contains content that is tailored to visitors’ interests. The Company will not process your personal data without your consent. However, the Company reserves the right, in exceptional cases, to process your personal information to the extent permitted or required by law, and/or by court orders or prosecution orders.

The Company will search the Liabilities, Mortgages & Prenotations and Company Data by Government Gazzete and General Electronic Commercial Registry from TIRESIA SA, 2 Alamanas str. 15125, Marousi, tel. 210-3676700 (controller) via the TSEK system, any Customer data, for the purpose of assessing or re-evaluating the transaction risk undertaken in the context of the relevant transaction or, in the case of a fixed or indefinite term contract, as long as this is valid, at the option of the business. What are the principles governing the processing of personal data by the Company?

The Company processes your personal data in a lawful manner for the purposes clearly set out in this Policy. Your personal data processed by the Company is limited to what is strictly necessary to achieve these purposes, is accurate and relevant, is kept for a period specified by the processing purposes, is protected by adequate security measures and is not transmitted to countries that do not provide sufficient security level of protection.

c) external partners (logistics companies, shipping companies, etc.) necessary to execute the contract between us,

In cases where your consent is required to disclose your data to third parties (where this is not legally required), this will be expressly requested by you and you have the right to withdraw it at any time. In such cases the Company assures you that it is constantly vigilant and takes all necessary security measures to ensure that the transfer of personal data is carried out in the safest possible manner.

We may pass your information to our third party service providers, subcontractors, law consultants, business consultants, external accountants and other authorized collaborators for the purposes of completing tasks and providing services to you on our behalf. However, when we use third party service providers, we disclose only the personal information that is necessary to deliver the service and we have a contract in place that requires them to keep your information secure and not to use it for their own direct marketing purposes. Please be reassured that we will not release your information to third parties for them to use for their own direct marketing purposes, unless you have requested us to do so, or we are required to do so by law, for example, by a court order or for the purposes of prevention of fraud or other crime.

We may transfer your personal information to a third party as part of a sale of some or all of our business and assets to any third party or as part of any business restructuring or reorganisation, or if we’re under a duty to disclose or share your personal data in order to comply with any legal obligation or to enforce or apply our terms of use or to protect the rights, property or safety of our supporters and customers. However, we will take steps with the aim of ensuring that your privacy rights continue to be protected.

How long is my personal data kept?

The retention period can vary greatly depending on the type of data and how it is used. Determination of data retention time is based on criteria such as legal retention deadlines, pending or potential disputes, copyright or proprietary rights, contractual requirements, business instructions or filing needs.

The Company is committed to retaining your CVs for one (1) year, after filling the position.

Tax information is maintained in accordance with tax law.

In order to fulfill the purpose of processing a job search in our Company (CV form) we consider a reasonable and necessary time to maintain your relevant data within two (2) years. After the end of this time period, the relevant file with all of your details will be deleted.

Data Subjects’ Rights

You have the right at any time to be informed about your personal information we process, the purposes we do it, whether they are transmitted to third parties and to whom, and other relevant information. You also have the right to receive a free copy of your personal data we possess upon request. Other rights that you have under applicable law include the right to request the updating and / or correction of your data, the cessation and / or restriction of their processing and deletion from the Company’s computer systems, unless there is not any other obligation provided by law for their maintenance. You also maintain the right to portability and / or objection to the processing of your personal data.

Each request made should be accompanied by appropriate identification evidence and the required information as well (eg. data needed to be corrected) as described in the terms of use of each service.

The Company makes every effort to ensure that your requests are answered promptly and in any case within one month of their receipt. This period may be extended by two (2) more months, if necessary, taking into account the complexity of the request and the number of requests. You will be informed by the Company for this extension and the reasons for the delay within one month of receiving the request.
