Increase in Barley Production
Through Agrology Success Stories in Greece and Abroad, it is proven that the superior quality and integrated innovative technologies of Agrology’s Functional Crop Nutrition® products, make a difference in crops from the very first applications!
Our goal is to demonstrate that Agrology’s Functional Crop Nutrition® Products are a profitable investment for farmers, as the financial benefits exceed the extra cost of supplemental applications! A series of such Success Stories were carried out in Barley for two years in different regions of Greece, in collaboration with Commercial Stores of Agricultural Supplies. Throughout the process, the farmers benefited from the continuous guidance and support offered by Agrology’s Technical Department and the collaborating agricultural stores.
The crop area of each trial was divided into two equal plots, one was used as the Control, while Agrology’s Program was applied to the other plot. In both plots, the farmer used the same plant protection and plant nutrition-fertilization program, apart from the additional applications with Agrology’s Functional Crop Nutrition® Products.
Identity of the Success Stories
From 2021 to 2022, 8 Trials in Barley were conducted in different Regions of Northern Greece, covering an area of 41 hectares.
Success Stories Objectives
By applying Agrology’s Functional Crop Nutrition® products during specific growth stages, farmers managed to achieve significant agronomic benefits for their crops.
The goals of the Success Stories were the following:
- Increase of Total Yield
- Increase in Ear Weight
- Increase in Ear Size
- Increase in the number of Grains/Ear

- XGel® activ Sapphire: Dosage: 3-4 L/ha / Water application Volume: 200-400 L/ha

Increase in Total Yield: by 11.2% (+521 kg/ha)
