Our goal is to demonstrate that application programs with Agrology’s Functional Crop Nutrition® products are an obvious investment for producers, as the financial benefits exceed the cost of supplemental applications!
One such Success Story was carried out on Greenhouse Tomato, var. Ekstasis (SS 2024_8_GR) in Heraklion, Crete in collaboration with the agricultural store and Nutrimaster “Geoponiki Frontida Papadakis IKE”, in 2024. Throughout the process, the farmer benefited from the continuous guidance and support offered by Agrology’s Technical Department and the collaborating agricultural store.
The greenhouse was divided into two plots, one was used as the Control, while Agrology’s Program was applied to the other plot. In both plots, the farmer used the same plant protection and plant nutrition-fertilization program, apart from the additional applications with Agrology’s Functional Crop Nutrition® products.

Products
Silicium and calcium biostimulant (35.0% w/v SiO2 & 35.0% w/v CaO) with a high percentage of available orthosilicic acid, which is the absorbable and assimilable form of Silicium by plants:
- Improved N, P, K uptake (SiO2)

- Increase resistance to stress (SiO2)
- Increased fruit firmness and Postharvest Life (CaO)

- 1 application every 10 days starting at beginning of fruit set
Recommended Dosage
Fertigation – 10 L/ha
A solution with 75% refined Leonardite extract (with a natural ratio of Fulvic to Humic acids at 30:70), 5% Ascophyllum nodosum extract, 20% mixture of Carboxylic acids and Organic Prebiotics, with additional components including 0.1% Molybdenum (Mo) and 0.05% Cobalt (Co).

Success Story Results
Measurements on both plots revealed impressive results in the Agrology treatment. Specifically, the results were as follows:
- Total Yield Increase
Total Yield Increase: +15.9 t/ha or 26.7%
- Agrology: 75.5 t/ha
- Control: 59.6 t/ha

The increase in total yield of 15.9 t/ha contributed to the increase of the farmer’s income.
