Dynax® Bacterra: Improvement of Root Development & Increase in Plant Weight in Open-Field Lettuce Cultivation

Hero Image

Through Agrology Success Stories in Greece and Abroad, it is proven that the superior quality and integrated innovative technologies of Agrology’s Crop Nutrition products, make a difference in crops from the very first applications!

Our goal is to demonstrate that application programs with Agrology’s Crop Nutrition products are an obvious investment for producers, as the financial benefits exceed the cost of supplemental applications!

One such Success Story was carried out in Field Lettuce, var. Romana (SS 2025_344_GR), in collaboration with the agricultural store and Nutrimaster® “Kleftakis Georgios”, in 2025. Throughout the process, the farmer benefited from the continuous guidance and support offered by Agrology’s Technical Department and the collaborating agricultural store.

The field was divided into two plots, one was used as the Control, while Agrology’s Program was applied to the other plot. In both plots, the farmer used the same plant protection and plant nutrition-fertilization program, apart from the additional applications with Agrology’s Crop Nutrition products.

Agrology Crop Nutrition Products

Dynax BacTerra Logo

Endophytic Bacteria Product in liquid form. It contributes to the solubilization and increased availability of soil nutrients, promotes metabolism and atmospheric nitrogen fixation. It enhances crop growth and plant vigour through root system biostimulation, by elongating primary roots and developing active lateral rootlets.

  1. Azospirillum brasilense: 1 x107 CFU/ml Strain ARV20
  2. Bacillus amyloliquefaciens: 1 x107 CFU/ml
  3. Pseudomonas putida: 1 x107 CFU/ml
  • Contributes to the solubilization and release of soil nutrients
  • Synthesizes natural hormones that promote plant growth and development
  • Enhances plant’s endogenous defense mechanisms (involvement in metabolic pathways to produce salicylic & jasmonic acids, etc.)
  • Promotes metabolism and atmospheric nitrogen fixation due to bacteria strong nitrogen-fixing ability
  • Improves Water and Nutrient uptake
  • Elongates primary roots & Increases the number and length of lateral rootlets
  • Accelerates plant metabolism and Promotes reproductive growth

Success Story Results

During the field trials, sampling was conducted in both treatments, in order to measure plants’ characteristics, including root weight and plant weight. As a result, the Agrology Program demonstrated impressive improvements in the agronomic characteristics of field lettuce cultivation, benefiting the producer.

Specifically, the following were achieved:

1. Improved Vegetative Growth and Greater Plant Growth Uniformity
