Applying Plant Nutrition Products using Spraying Drones

The use of spraying drones in agriculture for the application of Plant Nutrition Products, is an innovative practice that contributes to safer and more efficient crop nutritional management.

 

The main benefits of using spraying drones for fertilizers are:

 

  • Avoiding Mechanical damage to plants: Minimum mechanical stress and damages to plants in contrast to using agricultural machinery.
  • Reduced use of water and products: Spraying drones perform minimal volume applications, significantly reducing the used amount of water and in some cases of products.
  • Reduced application cost: Spraying drones significantly reduce the required number of formulations, while avoiding the consumption of fossil fuels.
  • Precise and flexible application: Applied on a case-by-case basis, considering the exact location that requires spraying, while applications could be carried out even in unfavorable terrain conditions, e.g. flooded soils,  mountainous lands, etc.
  • Faster applications: Spraying drones allow faster product application, resulting in time saving and reduced human labor.
  • Operator Safety: The farmer/operator can be at a great distance from the spraying point so that he is not exposed to hazardous formulations during the application

 

The applications of plant nutrition formulas using spraying drones have transformed the agricultural sector, as it allows farmers to achieve higher yields with less impact on the environment. At the same time, they provide the advantage of saving time and resources.

This new method of application also creates the need for new products suitable for spraying drones.
