Reduction of Oleocellosis in Mandarins

One such Research Program on Mandarins of the Encore variety was carried out in Chania in collaboration with Dr. Vasileios Ziogas, Trainee Researcher at the Institute of Olive Tree, Subtropical Crops and Viticulture of the Hellenic Agricultural Organization (ELGO) DIMITRA.
The researchers divided the crop into 2 sections. One section’s name was Control and the second Agrology Program. In the Agrology section, there were complementary interventions applied with the Specialized Nutrition Product Gravital Force SC, aiming to reduce the oleocellosis in mandarins.
Orchard: Location Ayia Pref. of Chania – Irrigated
Trees: Fully productive – Excellent nutritional status
The applications used the specialized nutrition formulation Gravital Force SC.
Product of high content and excellent purity of silicon (SiO2, 35% w/o) & calcium (CaO, 35% w/o), with a high percentage of available orthosilicic acid

Results – Reduction of Oleocellosis in Mandarins
Reduction by 35% of the Oleocellosis Index
- CONTROL: Oleocellosis Index = 2.77
- GRAVITAL FORCE: Oleocellosis Index = 1.8
