Nodius® Candy: Improvement of Quality Characteristics in Table Grapes var. Moschato

Through Agrology Success Stories in Greece and Abroad, it is proven that the superior quality and integrated innovative technologies of Agrology’s Functional Crop Nutrition® products, make a difference in crops from the very first applications!

Our goal is to demonstrate that application programs with Agrology’s Functional Crop Nutrition® products are an obvious investment for producers, as the financial benefits exceed the cost of supplemental applications!

Two such Success Stories were carried out on Table Grapes, var. Moschato (SS 2025_326 & 327_GR) in Kavala, in collaboration with the agricultural store and Nutrimaster® “Mpalikas Andreas & Co”, in 2025. Throughout the process, the farmers benefited from the continuous guidance and support offered by Agrology’s Technical Department and the collaborating agricultural store.

The fields were divided into two plots, one was used as the Control, while Agrology’s Program was applied to the other plot. In both plots, the farmers used the same plant protection and plant nutrition-fertilization program, apart from the additional applications with Agrology’s Functional Crop Nutrition® products.

Success Stories Results

Measurements on both plots revealed impressive results in the Agrology treatment. Specifically, the results were as follows:

1. Berry Diameter Increase

Berry Diameter Increase: +10.5% (+1.95 mm)

  • Control: 18.6 mm

2. Berry Weight Increase

Berry Weight Increase: +27.2% (+1.19 g)

3. Preservation of Berry Firmness

Maintaining berry flesh firmness at higher levels – 3 days after harvest at room temperature: +20.1% (+2.63 Shore Units)

4. Berry Sugar Content Increase

Berry Sugar Content Increase: +7.7% (+1.35 Brix)​​
